DKV goes up two places in the 2014 MercoPersonas ranking

DKV Seguros is the second highest rated insurance company and number 55 of the 100 companies with the best business reputation in Spain.

DKV Group once again appears in MercoPersonas, the ranking of the best companies to work in Spain. This time, it's reached the 55th position, a three-position improvement compared to 2013. What's more, it ranks fifth in the insurance sector.

This study prepared by the Business Corporate Reputation Monitor (Merco) assesses the perception that other stakeholders (HR executives, university students, business school alumni and the general public) have of the "employer brand" and it focuses on classifying the 100 companies with the best corporate reputation in the MercoEmpresas ranking.

It's divided into two phases. On the one hand, benchmarking (comparison of products, services and work processes) among the hundred Merco companies from a repertoire of HR policy variables.

On the other hand, a survey of a sample of employees from each company evaluated, based on questions related to job quality, work/family life balance and the organisation's internal reputation.

Por sectores, DKV se coloca en quinta posición dentro de las aseguradoras, tras Mutua Madrileña (13º), Mapfre (17º), Línea Directa (50º). Sanitas, at position 26 and five places down compared to 2013, is in first place in the healthcare sector. In 2012, DKV Seguros Group ranked at 53 in the table, achieving its best ranking since it began appearing in the ranking eight years ago.

This study is analysed by the KPMG professional services firm, which conducts an independent review in accordance with the ISAE 3000 standard. About MERCO The Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco) is a reputation assessment instrument. Since 1999, Merco has been in the business of measuring the reputation of companies operating in Spain.

Fifteen years later, it's one of the world's leading monitors. Every year, it carries out six rankings that measure reputation in various fields such as, e.g., the best companies to work for (mercoPersonas), the most prestigious leaders (mercoLíderes), the most reputable companies (mercoEmpresas), the best financial brands (mercoMarcas) and the best cities to live, to work, to visit, to study and to do business (mercoCiudad). MercoPersonas is, in turn, the only universal monitor that combines the assessment of internal reputation and talent brand at the same time. Part of the 100 companies included in the ranking of MercoEmpresas, but other companies may also be voted on.
