DKV won the ‘Healthy work’ category with the best initiative to promote work-life balance, flexibility and connection and, in general, to provide employees with value.

The company received this award at the Auditorium Camilo José Cela in Madrid. The aim of the award is to recognise the organisations that support initiatives to improve health and well-being at work. DKV won the ‘Healthy work’ category with the best initiative to promote work-life balance, flexibility and connection and, in general, to provide employees with value.

Yesterday, DKV Seguros received the "Healthy Workplace Award" in the "Healthy work" category. This award is presented every year by the publication HR Observatory and recognises the initiatives implemented by organisations to improve health and well-being at work under three different categories (Large Companies, SMEs and special categories in specific areas) as an intrinsic part of strategic plans.

The winners were announced at the awards ceremony held in Madrid yesterday morning. As part of the award, DKV's name will be added to a commemorative plaque and it will include the "Healthy Workplace" logo in its credentials.

The award was collected by the managers of the technical and health monitoring departments of the Joint Health and Safety Service, Nuria Villalvilla and Gabriel Toledo (respectively).

"Collecting a new award is a great boost and recognises the work we are doing at the Health and Safety Service, Human Resources Department, the Health Area and many other areas of the company. We focus on developing actions linked to our philosophy of being a healthy company, as well as taking care of the well-being of our organisation. The support of our colleagues and management team is essential: together, we can make a difference”, said Nuria Villalvilla.

Specifically, Villalvilla and Toledo explained that DKV's strategy with regard to being a Healthy Workplace focuses on taking care of the safety, health and well-being of both its employees and society in general, and that all of this is possible thanks to the DKV management team, who have “shown a clear commitment and leadership in taking care of people's health, both with regard to its professional staff, general employees and society”.

Nuria Villalvilla subsequently participated in a round table together with the other companies that won awards in the special Healthy body, Healthy mind and Healthy work categories, such as a Group Hefame, Lidl Supermarkets, Altran Innovación, Hospital de Manises and Amadeus It, in which current and future lines of work were presented.
